Studio
August Green was founded by internationally award winning designer, Kyle MertensMeyer, who envisioned a design studio with the heart of a classroom and mind of a laboratory, where creativity and ideas can be generated and explored. Armed with this vision, Kyle assembled a team of interdisciplinary problem solvers, who believed that every project began with a careful study of the questions at hand, drawing upon contextual evidence from research to shed light on new innovative solutions designed for meaningful impact.
August Green’s international projects span from museum, residential, hospitality, highrise, and showrooms, to wine cellars, film studios, healthcare, and products. With designs that serve a wide array of usage and programs, August Green grounds the design process on contextual precedence while reimagining the application of space, light, material, and form.
The work has resulted in August Green being recognized and published by global design organizations, such as The American Institute of Architects, International Interior Design Association, US Green Building Council, Dezeen, Contract Magazine, Interior Design Magazine, FX Magazine, BluePrint Magazine, Surface Design, A2 Magazine, & World Architecture News.
